Countries Starting with "S"

San Marino: Valentina wants to be clicked on with a mouse

New version without Facebook:

With her new hit "The Social Network Song, uh oh oh", Valentina Monetta wants to get social. In a song about the internet. The music video we posted above is, eh, well...quite self-explanatory. Be it a cup of tea or even cyber-sex....Facebook has it all...even if San Marino had to change the lyrics due to them breaking Eurovision rules. We all still know its about Facebook....uh oh oh....12 points from Zuckerberg, that's for sure.

Serbia: Željko Joksimović sings "Nije ljubav stvar"

Oh...what a pretty song. Serbian songs always tend to be pretty. :) Anyway, Mr. Joksimovic will try his best in the song "Synonym". Although the Serbian version is posted here, he will sing in English. A pity, if you ask us. Because the language was one of the factors that actually made this entry so magical. Sit back, enjoy and relax....Serbia will bring many points this year.

Slovakia's Max Jason Mai tells us not to close our eyes

Do not close them. For Max Jason Mai will tear them open with his rocky song "Don't Close Your Eyes". Slovakia's entry this year may not have a catchy melody, but definitely an almost hard-rock quality to it that just an eyeopener. So even if it lacks uniqueness, Max's song will stand out this year - it is the only song of its genre at the moment.

Sweet Eva Boto sings her heart out in "Verjamem"

Here she is, the amazing 16 year old. Yes, you read correctly. 16 year old Eva Boto seeks to touch our hearts with her ballad "Verjamem". And she has succeeded in so many ways. Even if it is a conventional ballad, Eva's song's melody, in combination with the other singer's introduction, makes the song truly magical. The lyrics are really beautiful too. Check it out, Eva's song is worth a listen!

"Quédate conmigo" - THE Spanish ballad

Its melody is catchy, and Pastora Soler's voice is equally amazing singing it....2 aspects that will give Spain a fair number of points this year. Even when Euroballads are usually the same old thing, Soler gives a new touch to the genre, making her song sound interesting with her vocal capabilities. Spain's entry this year is definitely a good one. Let's hope Pastora gets enough votes to enter the finals.

Euphoric shouts from Sweden - Loreen is on the way!

"Euphoria". Did you realise that it is currently one of the most voted for on this site? Well, clearly, there just MUST be something special about it. And it is clearly Loreen, not the melody. Her dancing alone on stage makes "Euphoria" stick out from other songs with countless background dancers, and other musicians clotting the stage. Loreen dances, and Loreen sings - it really makes the song so natural and unique at the same time. So the singer of Moroccan heritage ought to be proud. She did not only make it to 4th place in the Swedish Idol, she's also one of the tops on our site.

Switzerland's Sinplus performs "Unbreakable"

"Unbreakable". Melody somewhat like some of Greenday's hits, don't you think? Well, to take comparisons aside, Switzerland's handsome boy-band hopes to climb all the way to the top with their pop-rockish song. The melody is actually one of the most memorable around, and even if the boys have a strong accent, thats just part of this international contest, isn't it ;)
