Countries Starting with "I"

Greta and Jonsi create a magical mood with "Mundo Eftir Mer"

Soothing violins in the background, 2 angelic voices...."Mundo Eftir Mer" does not only impress, it transports. And Icelandic is a beautiful language, as expressed in this wonderful duet by Greta Salóme and Jónsi. Jónsi himself participated in ESC 2004 and came in 19th. Maybe this magical song will make it to a place higher than that this year.

Israel's Band Izabo performs a song called "Time"

The almost childish voices of "Izabo" fill the air - if they charm you, good. If they repulse you, better lower the volume. In terms of vocal talent and melody, this song is bound not to impress much. But in terms of creativity and humor, "Time" may win a place in the finals. Let's see if our circus-clowns will dance their places onto the final's stage.

Ireland: Twins "Jedward" try again with "Waterline"

The twins are back. Oh yes, you read correctly. They are back, with "Waterline", a song in which they fidget and jump around without pause. Their song "Lipstick" actually left quite an impression last time. Let's see what the twins can do this year with their new hit. Aren't they unique?

Italy's Nina Zilli sings beautifully in "Amore É Femmina "

Bellissima. Amy Winehouse looking Nina Zilli begins her song "Amore É Femmina" with a beautiful throaty voice. For quality music lovers, this song has taste. Zilli gives us the feel of a real chanteuse, and transports the meaning of the lyrics into the timbre of her voice. The upbeat rythm of the song is quite unique...worth watching. Pity she is not one of the favorites, but expect to see her in the final.
